Uge 48: Ugens koncerter og udgivelser
Så for satan! Julen lurer lige om hjørnet, men der er stadig en uge mere, hvor vi kan nyde efterårsdepressionen, inden juledepressionen sætter ind.
Og hvad går bedre med en nedtur over at skutte sig i mørket og den silende, kolde regn end at smutte ind på et spillested og høre noget musik? Ikke ret meget, så lad os se på, hvad vi kan muntre os med!
Allerede tirsdag står den på død med Dying Fetus i Amager Bio i København. Med sig har de Despised Icon, Chelsea Grin og Vitriol, så altså død plus core. Det skal nok blive en solid aften, og Amager Bio er derfor tilgivet for senere på ugen at bringe en koncert med den falske Jacob Dinesen. Vi holder øje med jer.
Fredag smører Strychnos Vridsløselille Fængselskirke ind i blod og blastbeats hele to gange, mens Hexis river Templet i Lyngby rundt, og Afsky får Odense til at drømme sig død. Lørdag kan du se rapmetal med Sorthandsk i Thisted, Thus huserer i Aalborg, og Vola indtager Vega i København. Og er du i humør til at være en af de hurtige billetkøbere til næste års Boringhell, så er det til Rask Mølle (er det fynsk for ryndskid?). Der kan du også opleve Solgård (ikke Henrik) og Brandsår.
Dem, der ikke kommer hviledagen i hu kan runde ugen af med storladne, kulsorte sager i Store Vega, hvor Alcest, Doodseskader og Svalbard holder humøret i bund.
Skulle vejret blive så rædsomt, at du ikke gider gå uden for en dør, så er der albumnyt fra dødsveteranerne i Konkhra. Kan man lide sin metal heavy og speedy og sine jeans stramme, så er der godt nyt fra Steel Inferno, som slipper albummet ‘Rush of Power’.
Ugens bedste bandnavn-prisen går til Ass to Mouth. De modtager også samtidig prisen for ugens dårligste bandnavn. Er du blevet nysgerrig, kan du lytte til deres album ‘Enemy of the Human Race’. Det er noget med noget grindcore. Det anbefales dog at google bandet med en vis forsigtighed.
Som en lille rosin i pølseenden er der også en ny single fra danske Heksproces på fredag – den er vi nogle på redaktionen, der glæder sig til!
